About Girl Scouts
The
Girl Scout program is girl-driven, reflecting the ever-changing needs and
interests
of participating girls. It provides girls with a wide variety of opportunities.
The program encourages increased skill building and responsibility, and
also
promotes the development of strong leadership and decision-making skills. All
program activities are age-appropriate and based on The Four Program Goals,
as well as on the Girl Scout Promise and Law. For more information about the

There are four levels in Girl Scouting: Daisy Girl Scouts, ages 5-6; Brownie Girl Scouts, ages 6-8; Junior Girl Scouts, ages 8-11; Girl Scouts ages 11-17.

Thousands of teen girls around the country created STUDIO 2B by making suggestions about their ideal place to hang out with friends, try new challenges, share hopes and dreams, and plan for the future. STUDIO 2B—created for you, by you, about you.
You probably have lots of people telling you what to do…but what do you want to do? STUDIO 2B is all about YOU shaping your own experiences by setting goals and achieving them.-Girls 11-14
Girl Scouts ages ages 11-14 are traditionally called Cadette Girl Scouts and are in seventh, eighth, and ninth grades. These girls work on interesting projects that match their interests and talents. They take on more responsibility for their activities and learn to set goals. These girls can participate in national events and serve on girl planning boards. Girls ages 11-14 may earn the Girl Scout Silver Award. Here is a list of the programs GSMA offers for this age group.-Girls ages 15-17
Girl Scouts are ages 14-17 are traditionally called Senior Girl Scouts and are in grades nine, ten, eleven, and twelve. They are responsible for planning their own activities with minimal adult supervision. They are learning to serve as leaders by serving as role models for younger girls. These girls may earn the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award for girls in Girl Scouting. Here is a list of the programs GSMA offers for girls this age.
