ADVENTURE ROCK
Adventure Rock hosts climbing programs for girls of all ages, including sleepovers, Adventure Sport and High Adventure Badges. Classes available at Devil’s Lake, as well as 11/2 and 2 hour programs at Adventure Rock.

ADVENTURES WITH ANIMALS
Join the staff of the Wisconsin Humane Society for this popular and fun-filled program to learn about our favorite companions. Make cat toys, socialize with the purr-fect cats, and learn how they train cool canines with the Bow Wow Basics program. Get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Country Springs Hotel
The Springs Water Park offers more than 45,000 sq feet of year round adventure and for children and adults alike. BeadStyle Magazine
Are you interested in learning how to make your own bracelet, necklace, or earrings? Come join editors from BeadStyle Magazine as they teach each girl the basic techniques necessary to make a piece of jewelry. Girls will learn stringing techniques and work on a project to be completed during the class session. All materials will be provided to make your own jewelry.

Jr. Jazzercise
Jr. Jazzercise is a fun-filled introduction to the lifelong benefits of exercise. Certified Jazzercise instructors move and dance to today’s hottest music in a non-competitive atmosphere while promoting fitness and healthy habits. Important aspects of a regular Jr. Jazzercise session include a warm-up routine, several fun dance routines, a discussion regarding health or exercise (during snack), strength training and a stretching end routine.

NOAH'S ARK ANIMALS WORKSHOP
Noah’s Ark offers girls the chance to make their own cuddly friend by hand stuffing it, making a wish on a rainbow star and naming it with a birth certificate. ON THE HIGHWAY TO HEALTH
The “Highway to Health” is paved with creative, interactive games taught by experts on women’s health, hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Learn how to listen to your body and love your body, inside and out. Special information on identifying and treating common bleeding disorders will round out the program.

AMERICA'S BLACK HOLOCAUST MUSEUM
James Cameron is founder of America’s Black Holocaust Museum and was America’s only living survivor of a lynching until his death in June of 2006. Because of this personal experience, Cameron dedicated his life to promoting civil rights, racial peace, unity, and equality. Your troop will learn African-American history through the displays and collections depicting the period of slavery to the present. Warning: some displays contain graphic content.

CAPTAIN FREDERICK PABST MANSION
The historic Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion invites Girl Scout troops to work on a recognition through one of their many programs. The Mansion provides an exciting and educational atmosphere for your group to learn about the past by experiencing it first hand. Individually designed programs are tailored to fulfill Girl Scout requirements, so your girls can participate in unique activities while earning patches. BADGER TRAILS, INC.
Badger Trails, Inc. is a non profit organization of volunteers that promotes and sponsors three hikes annually.
Devil’s Lake – This event has been attended by teen Girl Scout troops since 1963. This weekend event is the largest scout/youth event held in Wisconsin’s Devil’s Lake State Park. The weekend culminates with a dance for those 14 and older on Sat. evening.
Root River Trail – This hike is a one-day, 4.5 or 12-mile hike. Both hikes are along city streets and parkways.
Glacial Trail Backpack Experience – Participants camp and hike through the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest.

HAVENWOODS ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS CENTER
Havenwoods State Forest is a 237-acre open green space in the city of Milwaukee. It is one of only a few urban state forests managed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Join the educators at Havenwoods for indoor and outdoor fun.

NATURE IN THE PARKS
Join professional Nature in the Parks Naturalists as you explore the earth’s astonishing treasures in the beautiful Milwaukee County Park system. Take advantage of a variety of year-round and seasonal programs, including discovery hikes, environmental exercises, land stewardship and hands-on activities. The programs offered complete many of the outdoor awards, which are not included.

SCHLITZ AUDUBON NATURE CENTER
Scouts have MANY choices when scheduling a visit to SANC! Experience a self-guided nature hike or participate in a naturalist-led program. Work with a naturalist to design your own program or participate in one of the many award and badge programs already in place. Developing a better understanding and respect for our world is a natural as the girls explore ponds, forests, prairies, a 60-foot tower, the beach along Lake Michigan, and meet a few animals up close!

The Urban Ecology Center is a neighborhood, community nature center. Projecting over 2,000 stars, five planets, and many special effects on its special domed ceiling, the planetarium can bring the heavens close to home. Did you know that by recycling one aluminum you can save enough energy to run a TV for three hours! Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful (KGMB) offers an exciting tour of the Milwaukee recycling facility. Participants learn about the importance of waste reduction, reuse and recycling. KGMB teaches everyone simple, everyday steps towards protecting our precious planet Earth.
