Make an impact on the life of a girl!
Girl Scouts of Milwaukee Area is a girl-centered organization, but without our adult volunteers the Girl Scout program would cease to exist! Girl Scout volunteers, whether making a short or long-term commitment, can truly make a difference in a girl's life. Sharing time with Girl Scouts is rewarding and enjoyable.
Volunteering for Girl Scouts gives you the chance to share your time and talents with young women in your community. Almost all Girl Scout programs are volunteer-driven: about 99% of our adult members are volunteers. Girl Scouts of Milwaukee Area offers a wide variety of volunteer options, from working directly with the girls to working with adults. Volunteer opportunities range from one-time programs and events to year-round troop leaders - whatever fits best in your schedule!
Qualified men and women over age 18 are eligible to become Girl Scout volunteers.
To
volunteer as a leader or co-leader:
1.
Print, complete, and sign the Volunteer Service Application.
2. Print three copies of the Volunteer Reference form and have it
filled out by three persons not related to you who can judge your qualifications
for this position. Please note that your signature is required on the reference
forms, as well as the signature of the reference.
3. Return the Volunteer Service Application and all reference forms to
Girl Scouts of Milwaukee Area, 131 South 69th Street, P.O.
Box 14999, Milwaukee, WI 53214-0999.
You will be contacted
after we receive your application and completed references.
To
volunteer for other opportunities:
You
do not need to be a parent of a Girl Scout, nor do you need to have been a Girl
Scout yourself. To volunteer for any opportunity other than leader
or co-leader:
1. Print,
complete, and sign the Volunteer Service Application.
2. Return the Volunteer Service Application to:

14999, Milwaukee, WI 53214-0999.
